Caroline Cole is a vice president at HM Science, a specialized division of Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and buyers. Based in Hughes Marino’s Raleigh-Durham office, located within Research Triangle Park, Caroline represents and advises life science companies with their corporate real estate strategies, and ensures her clients receive best-in-class service to help their businesses align their real estate with operational needs.Caroline specializes in the life science sector, helping clients design strategic solutions to their complex business and real estate needs. Whether they are looking for their first lab space, a new headquarters location, restructure an existing lease, or need to expand or contract their facility footprint, negotiate a more favorable renewal term, or develop a needs assessment and facility program to better understand square footage and key infrastructure needs, Caroline values and understands the importance of establishing long-lasting relationships and becoming an integral partner to her clients as their businesses mature, grow and evolve. Before joining Hughes Marino in RTP, Caroline started her career in commercial real estate in Charlotte, NC.

A North Carolina native, Caroline grew up in Gastonia, NC. She graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, with a bachelor’s degree in political science and government. She was a member of the women’s golf team for four years, and was a captain her senior year.

Caroline currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC. In her free time, she enjoys exploring trails with her fiancé, Taylor and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Murphy. Caroline is also an avid audiobook listener, a runner, and loves to cook and travel.
